Art galleries and an art center are located in The Lower Mill on the banks of Honeoye Creek in the historic and scenic Village of Honeoye Falls, New York. This circa 1827 three story grist mill is home to our non-profit community Mill Art Center & Gallery . The Lower Mill is a unique setting for the arts with galleries and studio / classrooms filling the second floor, and art displays throughout the building.

The Rabbit Room restaurant thelowermill.com, the Peacock Oriental Museum, Balanced Body Yoga, Talulah's Fancy and Friends and studio spaces makes The Lower Mill a destination spot.

Mill Art Center & Gallery provides an environment in which the community can express and develop their artistic abilities through instruction. Our unique blend of classroom studios and gallery space encourages students to immerse themselves in art, with inspiration from instructors and the art that surrounds them. We also welcome and support student interns from the Honeoye Falls - Lima school system.

Dry Pigments and Eggs: Robert Wisner

Opening Reception:Thurs, Dec 8, 6:00-8:00pm

An exquisite exhibit of paintings with extraordinary details.

Robert Wisner attended Rochester Institute of Technology and also studied at the Ruskin School of Drawing in Oxford, England. Still life and landscapes of Western New York and Cape Cod are his subject matter. Egg tempera is his favorite medium. Wisner has exhibited nationally and is represented by major galleries in the North East.

Exhibit runs December 8, 2011 through February 25, 2012
