Join Us on Friday, February 29th from 3-4 for an engaging talk with photo editor and author Anika Burgess in conversation with Willie Osterman. The New Yorker is Calling ‘Flashes of Brilliance’ one of 2025 Top Ten Books.
The story of the wildest experiments in early photography and the wild people who undertook them.
Reception to follow, open to the public and a $5 donation is requested.
Anika Burgess is a writer and photo editor. She has been published in The New York Times, The New Yorker, and Atlas Obscura. Anika has won a Front Page Award from the Newswomen’s Club of New York and has presented at Photoville New York. She holds degrees in law and history from the University of Sydney, and qualified as a lawyer before changing careers to journalism. Anika lives in New York with her husband, son, and an obstinate schnauzer called Sigmund.
Join us for an engaging conversation with Blacksmith Ben Spangler of Spangler Forge on Friday, February 27th from 5 - 6pm.
On Saturday, February 28th from 10am - 5pm Spangler Forge will be in our gallery hosting an event showcasing the beautifully crafted knives, swords and an assortment of decorative pieces. Open to the public.
