Subject matter choices for still life paintings are endless. They can be based on the time of year (holidays), events in our lives, nostalgia, or emotional connections. We will review elements of still life composition, lighting, color and theme. Students will also learn how to use various reference photos to plan their own still life with watercolor. Students will bring their own watercolor materials. An email will be sent to students who register with details of what materials to bring.
