In this one day workshop where participants will learn a simplified, non-toxic version of a printmaking process called Kitchen Lithography. This method uses many products easily found in your kitchen - aluminum foil, cooking oil, and Coca-Cola. The process will be discussed and demonstrated, then participants will have an opportunity to create and print their own lithographs. We will discuss best practices for a successful print, ink and paper choices, as well as a variety of alternate press options.
All materials supplied. Participants should bring several pairs of latex/nitrile gloves.
