Traditional Draftsmanship ~ an 8 week comprehensive class

  • Mill Art Center and Gallery 61 N Main St Honeoye Falls, NY 14472 United States (map)

Traditional Draftsmanship is the most effective way to improve your skills in all areas of drawing & painting. Just as there is a correct & functional ways to hold a classical guitar, there are ergonomic nuances to the way one sharpens & holds a pencil. These “best practices” will completely transform your work flow, enabling your artwork to build to a level of undeniable quality. In many ways this class is about how to be confident & relaxed within your ability to draw.

If you’re already an experienced artist this class will bring your expression to a new dimension of quality. If you’ve never once created art, this is the most effective way to begin.

1 How to sharpen & hold a pencil & how to warm up
