MEET THE TEACHERS

Janet Finch-Levy - Bookbinding

Let Janet Finch-Levy introduce you to the basic ways on how to sew book pages together when making a handmade book. You will make a Stitch Sampler using traditional waxed linen thread and a template. These foundation stitches are easy to master and can be used in making notebooks, journals, and sketchbooks. Plus, you will learn to make a mini book keepsake.

Donna Gustina - Watercolor

Would you like to have an opportunity to learn how to paint a beautiful sky with clouds or a tree full of leaves in a field of grass? Donna Gustina will guide you in taking out the mystery and help you learn some easy and quick watercolor techniques to create a small landscape to take home with you.

Denise Heischman - Acrylic

Dip into painting and learn which two types of brushes can quickly and easily create flowers. Using acrylic paint in this step-by-step process taught by Denise Heischman, you will learn how to mix your own colors and paint flowers, allowing you to take your mini garden with you!

Stephanie Kelly - Neurographic-Mixed media

Don’t let this scientific name scare you! Neurographic art is simple, fun and highly addictive! It's THE most fun you can have with a Sharpie and a few other mixed media items! Stephanie Kelly will show you how to build your foundational lines and then add color with watercolor brush pens and acrylic markers to beautifully fill in and enhance your line work.

Jean Stephens - Gelli Plate Printmaking

Let Jean Stephens introduce you to the wonderful world of printmaking using Gelli plates, where you can you create mono-prints without a press.  Using simple materials and a couple different colors you will have the opportunity to make your own prints perfect for a small frame or sending to a friend.
